The handsome French actor Gaspard Ulliel (who came on the American scene in Hannibal Rising) stars in the ad film for CHANEL’s latest men’s fragrance, BLEU DE CHANEL. It’s directed by the brilliant Martin Scorsese who cleverly selected the Rolling Stones song “She Said Yeah” as the soundtrack for his short and gritty masterpiece.
“Martin Scorsese is a director whom I’ve admired for a long time,” says Gaspard Ulliel. “I see him as one of the greatmasters of contemporary filmmaking. Throughout the five days of work, he overflowed with energy and enthusiasm and achieved something that truly stands out from other fragrance commercials.”
The woodsy BLEU DE CHANEL fragrance was created by CHANEL Master Perfumer Jacques Polge and contains notes of citrus, peppermint, pink peppercorn, nutmeg, ginger, jasmine, cedar, vetiver, patchouli, labdanum and frankincense.
Wearing BLEU might encourage the modern man to ‘be unexpected’ like Gaspard Ulliel in the film. How intriguing!
