New York is a State of Mind

Alicia Keyes and Jay-Z capture the essence of  New York City with this track.  The lights will inspire you and the streets do make you feel brand new, as our group of six Canadian girls found out this past weekend on our girly getaway.  With every visit to this gritty and sexy city , I fall in love with it more and more.

Divas Las Vegas!

I just returned from a delicious getaway with my two lovely galpals after indulging in a weekend of fine dining, shopping and entertainment in a city that never ceases to amaze me.  A true fantasyland fit for mankind.  It was the perfect escape from our hectic schedules back home and as always, Vegas didn’t disappoint. We danced away in our bathing suits to the sounds of Sean Paul who was performing at the Palms Pool Party.  Our foodie instincts took us to places like Spago’s and SushiSamba.  At night, we slipped into pretty little dresses (and they were little!) and sashayed our way into Tryst at the Wynn.  The plush sofas and waterfall backdrop provided a stunning scene to watch the partygoers revel in the magic of Vegas.  We filled our days with shopping within the never-ending mazes of boutiques. I came back with a suitcase full of shoes!  Jimmy Choo, I love you.

Eco-Chic for the Diva Girl

H & M, one of my favorite mass retailers, is showing some hippie love to all eco-chic divas.   The Spring 2010 Garden Collection showcases the prettiest frocks and tunics made out of sustainable materials such as organic cotton, recycled polyester and tencel.  How fabulous!Garden Collection

Oh, what a Diva!

“I don’t cook. I make reservations.”

“For marriage to be a success, every woman and every man should have her and his own bathroom.  The end.”

Quotes by Catherine Zeta-Jones.  Gotta love her!

Catch the gorgeous actress in Broadway’s A Little Night Music, still playing in NYC.

Hello Spring!

It’s springtime in cowtown Calgary but a chill remains in the air.  Snowstorms like the one yesterday are not uncommon in our fair city during this time of the year.  A mixture of rain and snow is the perfect excuse to don a glamorous pair of rainboots such as these Aquatalia ones I purchased.  So shiny!
